I have been dreaming of bringing a lapstrake canoe to market for a very long time… and the time is now!

Constructed of lightweight marine grade plywood, carefully clad inside and out with a durable skin of fiberglass, trimmed with native ash, and coated in Epifanes polyurethane, this boat is built to last and looks as good as it paddles. At 15 feet long, with seating for two and plenty of room for gear and weighing only 60 pounds, this boat is a breeze to car top and portage and will get a lot of use. With inherent stability, speed and good looks, this vehicle can take you as far as you want into the backcountry, to your local pond, or maybe to a mental escape as you ponder the play of light off the hull while you sit in your garage dreaming of your next time out on the water.

Included with this canoe, I will custom make you and your favorite companion each a paddle in your choice of several styles.
